The blogger
G. Sreekumar is a graduate and postgraduate in economics. As an undergraduate, he also studied Mathematics and Political Science as subsdiaries. The undergraduate courses involved specialisation in banking and central banking . For his BA, he was a gold medallist at the University of Kerala. He completed his MA at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He obtained his PhD at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, for a thesis on regulation and compliance in Anti-Money Laundering. He worked as a central banker from 1986 to 2019, and as a Dean (School of Management, and School of Liberal Arts) at a private university during 2019-20.
